Mike's Personal Life

• Mike became a resident of Dana Point in 2009 when he and his wife purchased their first home on Amber Lantern and began serving on the board of the Lantern Village Association Board in 2010. Shortly thereafter, in 2011 Mike shifted from his corporate role and spent two years reconstructing their home where he performed the work himself. It was during this time that Mike had the opportunity to learn about and become more involved in the local community and broader City policies. As a new home owner in Dana Point, he was inspired to not only serve on the community board, but also became actively involved in learning about the City operations and understanding the local public policies that impact the citizens of Dana Point.

• Mike and his wife, Heidi, were married at the Ocean Institute in 2011. They have two young children who attend Dana Montessori on Violet Lantern and RH Dana Elementary on Chula Vista. In addition to their home in the Lantern Village, they recently purchased a second residential property in Capistrano Beach.
